Here are some of my things organized relatively neatly* (and photographed rather amateurishly with my iPhone).
I’m organized when it comes to time management and getting things done, but I’m not particularly organized with things.
In fact, I quite like my things to be a bit untidy, a bit disorganized.
Basically, I like to have a designated place for everything and I like to keep everything in its designated place. I want to be able to lay my hands on whatever thing the moment calls for – mosquito spray, glue, battery recharger – in a split second.
However, I don’t mind if things aren’t perfectly in order within their designated places. The scissors are allowed to mingle freely in a drawer with other useful implements.
While I’m comfortable with my own mild messiness, I don’t like other people’s messiness, not even Signor Lu’s. Fortunately for both of us, he’s less messy than me.
